Eliot Lear is a principal engineer in the office of the Cisco Intent Based Networking Group CTO, where he focuses on Security of the Internet of Things as well as Technology Policy.
He is the author of numerous requests for comments (RFCs), and has served in the IETF leadership on the Internet Architecture Board.
Prior to joining Cisco in 1998, Eliot served as Internet Architect for Silicon Graphics.
Eliot lives in Switzerland with his wife and daughter, and enjoys skiing and cooking.
