Kabiraj Sethi serves as a Principal Software Engineer within Cisco's Enterprise Networking Group, where he plays a pivotal role in designing and architecting enterprise networking solutions for the Catalyst series switches. He has successfully led the development and delivery of multiple Catalyst products across modular, fixed, and compact switching families. Currently, Kabiraj is driving innovation for next-generation switching products, focusing on cutting-edge areas such as smart buildings, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and edge computing.
A recognized expert in Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology and value engineering in switching products, Kabiraj brings a deep technical acumen to his work. He is a self-motivated and passionate engineer who holds more than 10 U.S. patents and consistently demonstrates his commitment to innovation by actively participating in Cisco hackathons and mentorship initiatives.
Kabiraj earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India.
